The courses are designed for English speakers.
As English and Finnish are quite different languages, in most of the lessons I speak in English, so it will be easier for you to understand the main concepts, and it will make the transition to Finnish smoother and easier to understand.
No previous knowledge of Finnish is required.
The first course is for beginners (A1), and for this reason we will start from the basics. The second one is a perfect fit for advanced beginners (A2), as the lessons' difficulty will gradually increase. The third one instead, it's for intermediate (B1) students that have been already practicing the language for sometime and want to take it to the next level.
The topics covered:
✅ Pronunciation:
you will learn from a native speaker how to pronounce the most difficult sounds in Finnish.
✅ Vocabulary:
you will learn the most common vocabulary used in Finnish in many daily situations that you can encounter.
✅ Grammar:
by the end of each course you will be able to master the most important grammar concepts, so that you will understand the logic behind the Finnish language.
✅ Expressions and Idioms:
you will remain fascinated by some of the Finnish expressions and idioms you can use to impress your friends.
✅ Culture and lifestyle:
learning the Finnish culture will allow you to really connect with the locals and to understand how the Finnish people think.

The courses are divided into multiple sections, containing the 200+ video lessons and the exercise sets. I advise you to watch the sessions in order, as the courses provide you a sequential and logical learning path. Remember that you can always go back and watch the lessons as many times as you need.
All the videos are in FULL HD, and it's possible to regulate the speed, sound and quality. In all my videos I try to use as many visuals as possible such as images, tables, and graphs. At the same time, you can also see me talking directly to you, making the lessons as engaging and fun as possible.
